Vote manipulation in Ireland in run-up to Lisbon 2 Referendum

June 8, 2010 - 9:35 pm 25 Comments

During the European Election count in the Ireland North West thousands of votes were discovered to have been misallocated from one candidate (Fiachra Ó Luain) to another (Declan Ganley) during a recheck of a random 10% of the votes. Following over three months of ‘investigation’ the Garda Siochána (Police) of Co. Mayo failed to gather a single statement other than those given by the candidate in question. In fact the same Garda put in charge of the ‘investigation’ had been in charge of the election count when the votes orignially went missing. Would you trust these individuals to be in charge of the votes that will decide the future shape of the EU on the Oct 2nd Lisbon Referendum? Please inform the media in all European countries and elsewhere. Something is rotten in the county of Mayo…
If such irregularities could be discovered in 10% of the votes in one Euro constiuency, how many votes could potentially be misallocated in a national ballot?
Please contact Fiachra Ó Luain at fiachraforeurope@gmail.com or join the ‘Not Lisbon Nor Libertas’ group on Facebook for more details.

How will Democrats buy more votes for the health bill today?

June 8, 2010 - 11:40 am 6 Comments

MSNBC just reported that the Democrats are two currently two votes short of passing the health care bill in the House. What deals and promises will they make today to buy the last two votes?
ANITA: I don’t have a problem with the arm twisting and promises of help on future bills. I think it goes too far when they start adding amendments exempting certain states from parts of the bill especially when it comes to paying for it.

Remember fear? yes fear mongering, if you vote against obama or what Obama wants, you must be a racist, and all of these white democrats who do not support the bill will be voting for it because they are afraid that they will be labeled as such

What is the purpose of Republicans passing there votes?

June 5, 2010 - 2:52 pm 2 Comments

Most of the states in the union cast there votes for John Mccain, but many of them passed up there opportunity to vote. Why pass up there right and American duty to vote? What are they standing for? I don’t want to hear from any liberals, I could care less what they think. Thanks!

They are passing so they can give the honor of clinching the nomination to McCain’s home state of Arizona.

Can someone explain electoral votes and whether my vote counts?

June 2, 2010 - 8:00 pm 2 Comments

If a president is elected by the electoral votes and these votes are determined before the Nov. 4th general election, then how can my vote count? And, why should people vote? I’m confused—can someone explain this process to me. Thanks ahead of time.

The electoral college is a compromise built into the Constitution. At the time the Constitution was written, small states were worried about being overwhelmed by the bigger states, so they put in the Constitution that each state would have a number of electoral votes equal to its number of senators and congressmen. This gives smaller states slightly more power since even the smallest state has at least two senators and one representative.

Electors for each state vote the way the majority of the people in the state voted. They don’t vote until after the election, of course.

When you hear that Obama is ahead in electoral votes, what that means is that pollsters have taken polls in all the states, predicted which way each state will vote, and then counted the electoral votes for those states and Obama is leading in those prospective electoral votes. But as they say, the only poll that really matters is on November 4th.

What happens to the votes that have gone to the Greens, for example?

May 30, 2010 - 11:55 pm 3 Comments

Have they ‘stolen’ votes from Rudd or are those votes transferred to Labour at the end of the election. I understand the Green vote is important but by not voting for one of the parties on the 2 party preferred basis, could they, in fact, be throwing the election to someone who does not actually have the majority of the vote?

Australia has a preferential voting electoral systems in which voters rank a list or group of candidates in order of preference.

In single-winner elections a preferential ballot paper can be redistributed according to the voter’s expressed preference. Votes allocated to a candidate that is to be excluded from the election counting process are redistributed and allocated to the subsequent continuing candidate in order of the voter’s indicated preference.

If a voter follows a how-to-vote card (for the lower house) provided by their first preference party, then essentially the subsequent preferences are directed according to their first party’s preferred alliance.

What happened to the votes for those guys that won the fabulous Iowa votes?

May 28, 2010 - 12:02 pm 1 Comment

I was told that those men who drop out give their delegate votes to another candidate of their choice, which is how McCain actually won. This doesn’t seem right. Does that mean that those who voted for candidate Y got their votes transferred to candidate Z or do those votes just disappear?

I agree, if you voted for Edwards, then what gives him the right to give Obama or Clinton your vote

Ron Paul Fraud! ‘Diebold’ Vote Machines Steal 2008 Primaries

May 27, 2010 - 11:29 pm 25 Comments

With the presidential race in full swing, most U.S. states have found critical flaws in the accuracy and security of their electronic voting machines.

Some officials have been forced to scramble to return to the paper ballots they abandoned after the 2000 and 2004 Florida and Ohio Stolen Elections. Poll workers and other convicted state officials are already serving terms for Election Fraud. Besides President Bush and Vice Cheney there might be dozens if not hundreds of unelected public officials from both parties.

And that’s not all, this past December alone, top election officials in Ohio, New Hampshire, and Colorado declared that widely used voting equipment is unfit for elections. The state of California just banned the four electronic voting machine companies after HBO’s documentary “Hacking Democracy: A Diebold Expose’” – http://www.digg.com/security/Hacking_Democracy_10

Now, Just Remember that We The People Can and Are Passing Legislation to Guarantee Paper Ballots and an Open Count in the 2008 General Elections.

Note on the rejected EU Constitution and Lisbon Treaty:

The people of France and the Netherlands rejected the proposed EU constitution in the 2005 referendums. After this, other countries cancelled a promised referendum and the EU Constitution was re-written as an “amending treaty” or a “reform treaty” and named “Treaty of Lisbon”.

On the basis of this deceit, they claimed that no referendums are necessary on the Lisbon Treaty. Ireland was constitutionally required to hold a referendum and on the 12 June 2008 the people of Ireland gave a resounding No to Lisbon. Yet this vote is not being respected and the rule of law is being ignored. The EU leaders agreed at the June 19-20 EU Summit that ratifications must go on. Moreover, no other government is asking the people.

The Lisbon Treaty establishes a new “European Union” with joint citizenship – an EU “federal” State that is technically and politically empowered to centralize more power in Brussels. The treaty also stipulates the militarisation of the Union in order to ‘police the world’ just like the US does today.
