Can early voting seal the deal for Obama?

March 3, 2010 - 6:18 am 17 Comments

In some states, folk are standing in long lines waiting hours to vote. If this happen on a large scale, it would be hard for McCain to win. Early voting means extra votes because many simply will forget to vote had they waited for Nov the 4th. It also means the republicans will have a harder time stealing these votes like they did in Florida in 2000 and in Ohio in 2004. If Obama can galvanize the masses, he can actually win before the election date.

Basically. Most of the people who are voting early are mostly voting for Obama.

When I heard Biden asking for people to vote early even if they were going to be in town on election day, my first thought was why do that want those votes now? What may change their minds in the next few days?

If General Colin Powell and the American people have our way Obama will be the next President. If Al-Qaeda has it’s way then the candidate they endorsed John McCain will be the next President.

I went to vote today and was told I have to wait in line. I waited for 30 minutes and asked what the problem was as no one was ahead of me. It seems there was a dead, out of state migrate worker preteen that needed help voting but with the help of ACORN and local Democrats, he was finally allow the vote…it brought tears to my eyes.

This logic doesn’t make any sense at all. People standing in line might be voting for either candidate. And the idea that people will forget to vote on Nov. 4 is just ridiculous, unless they live in a cave somewhere.

No candidate can win before Election Day. Even if 100% of the people who vote early happened to vote for the same person, those 100% are still a tiny minority compared to the millions who will vote on Nov. 4. And they don’t count the advance votes until the polls close on Election Day. So overall, not one part of this holds water.

The fact that ACORN is paying or giving goodies to homeless people then dragging them to the polls, even if they don’t have credible ID and don’t even live in the state they are voting in and the fact that states such as OH are allowing these fraudulent voters to register to vote and cast their ballots in one fatal swoop is just a SCAM. It should not be allowed.

Early voting is not allowed in Alabama, my home state. If you want to vote early, then you must request an absentee ballot from the board of registrars and have it notarized before submitting.

If we have early voting and people can vote whenever they want to, then why even have an election day? This is just ridiculous.
