Do any of you think that early voting is just a recipe for corruption?

I totally understand that it is a matter of convenience to take advantage of early voting. I just think there is too much opportunity for shenanigans to take place. I dont trust our gov’t to make the right decision regarding the banking crisis, and I certainly dont trust them with early voting results.

indubidably I do. What easier way to steel a vote! Well, other than dead people votes which I’m sure will come out as well.

    It’s okay to, I mean there are people out there that want to wait for the debates before they absentee vote. The debates aren’t really there for voting influence, just to get the American people more aware at the issue at stake. And the absentee thing, well it’s because polls will be crowded. Most of the absentee voters are college or military people. I am not fully against absentee ballots, I just wish they wouldn’t be sent out until 24 before polls open. I do understand your thought though.

    As I am one of those who love early voting I obviously do not believe it is a recipe for corruption. I think being able to go to your polling place and vote a couple of weeks before the actual election is wonderful. It gives people like me who work a lot of mid shifts or unusual hours a chance to vote on our day off. It is really convenient for many. But, even when we could not early vote I always managed to get to the polls to vote.
