    Plus besides my …
Plus besides my comment below (which if you disagree with then I suggest taking a basic college course on statistics):

People think the idea of a couple that have opposite political beliefs not voting is silly…. But it’s not silly at all. If my wife is an obama gal and I’m a mccain guy, why would we get in the car together and go to the polls to simply create more ballots to add up? It makes no sense but people seem to be in this “voter worship” mentality where that’s all that matters.

    first off… …
first off… there’s way more than five people in this vid so it’s really a dumb title. And I believe this was a spielberg project, not dicaprio.

2nd: Why is getting people to vote good? A general survey of 5 million random people questioned about any random thing will give you the same results as 8 million people! It doesn’t matter.

All this does is get people out to the polls who normally wouldn’t and therefore generally know less about the issues than people who willingly want to vote!

Great commerical. 3:52 is hilarious! “I had five friends.” Woot, FRIENDS reference! :)

    Scared? Now that’s …
Scared? Now that’s a leap of logic. What do I have to be scared of? Do yourself a favor, read up on socialism, marxism, and communism, then start filling in the blanks. Obama’s first mentor was a communist party member. He then was attracted to Alinsky, another communist. He sat in a church for twenty years studying, I assume, Black Liberation Theology, which is marxism. Bill Ayers is a socialist. You figure it out. If that’s what you want, say so, but fear has nothing to do with it.

    first of all I’m a …
first of all I’m a leader not a follower. the jury is not still out on bush show me a policy that has had a positive impact on americans. you don’t want change for the better because you’re scared. so you’ll go with mccain who is not a maverick but another member of the republican party. he is not a bad man though he’s made mistakes but who hasn’t . i didn’t originally care for OBAMA because I thought he was just all talk I personally prefered john edwards . I’m independent

  7. Gurdjieffian Says:

    You’re not doing …
You’re not doing your pick any good by misspelling his name. Obamba? Anyway, talking points all, and clearly of the Borg mentality. Mindless and thoughtless. Nixon was a good president, until he wasn’t. Reagan was a bad president, until he wasn’t. The jury is still out on Bush, other than the mindless rhetoric, that is. It takes years to realize the true impact of any administration. Anyone with any amount of experience knows this. I’m no Bush lover, but I don’t hate him either.

  8. ocgotgame510 Says:

    repeating history …
repeating history would be to elect a man that supported bush but far one of the worst presidetns ever who has consistently lied to the american people about the war in Iraq we should have went to afganastan in the same capacity we invaded iraq . 8 years ago under the clinton adminstration you can say what you want to about him but we have the most money we’ve ever had in american history 2 terms later we’re in a recession the dow is unpredicatible. obamba is the man for change mccain is bush 2

  9. Gurdjieffian Says:

    Dice it and slice …
Dice it and slice it any way you want. Many of those supporting Obama have no idea what they’re in for, nor do I believe they care one iota. The rest are plainly part of the Borg, regurgitating the party line, which in his case, clearly points towards socialism and a totalitarian government. Obligatory service and wealth redistribution. Suppression of free thought on sites like this. Mob mentality. I’ve seen it all before, 16 years ago. We’re doomed to repeat history. Nothing new here.

  10. ocgotgame510 Says:

    compare whatever …
compare whatever you want to and make any assumptions you want to make. I”m waiting for you to say something insightful

  11. Gurdjieffian Says:

    The fact that you …
The fact that you imply that I’m idiotic, uneducated and negative tells me everything I need to know about you since you made it personal. Let’s compare records and see who might have a better understanding of what this whole thing boils down to, shall we?

  12. ocgotgame510 Says:

    okay you are saying …
okay you are saying there is no reason to vote for obama give me reasons to vote for Mccain…. go do your research mccain will be the new bush if elected. I dont understand why you and negatvie people act like this commercial is brainwashing or media bull. Its politcal satire not an endorsement for either side . think before you make idotic comments

off you rich fucks. I’m never going to see another one of these dooche bags movies again. Mind your own business! I used to be a jennifer aniston fan, what a dumb bitch, polar bears? I’m sure it’s easy to worry about polar bears when you’re rich from making movies, but I have more important problems to worry about so shut up and show us your tits. They’ve convinced me to vote for McCain

  17. orio90 Says:

    that’s about it, as …
that’s about it, as you put grossly over simplifying.

  18. Gurdjieffian Says:

    There are plenty of …
There are plenty of reasons not to vote for Obama and five of them made a stupid video. Just because you’re a rich actor from Hollywood doesn’t mean you have a clue about public policy. They presume that the only good reason to vote is to support only their ideals. I’ve got news for you, there are plenty of people who have minds of their own and don’t buy into the hype.

  19. millermountain Says:

    I love how people …
I love how people can’t figure out if Obama lacks experience or is “just another puppet”… they’re all a bunch of idiots. There is no reason NOT to vote for Obama. Like so many things in this campaign Obama is damned “if he does and damned if doesn’t”

  20. NannerQueen Says:

    No, but seriously.. …
No, but seriously…can you vote “McBama” if you can’t distingush between McCain and Obama?

  21. jdc158 Says:

    is this a …
is this a joke? what the fuck. im not going to vote just because this video was made. If u watch this video and feel that u should vote. your a dumb ass. shoot yourself…..

    you fuck.

  22. mizzramalama Says:

    Gotterdammerung14 – …
Gotterdammerung14 – Get over yourself. Just because you’ve lost faith and have decided to dig yourself into a pit doesn’t mean everyone else has. You say that the “puppet master” is “a very small capitalist elite.” So, who are they, and why aren’t you doing anything to stop them?

  23. statesRcountries Says:

    Don’t vote.
    The ” …

    Don’t vote.
The “United States” is not a country.
You are a resident alien vs. the “US”.

The “United States” is a federal corporation located in the District of Columbia.
    * USC (United States Code) Title 28 § 3002: Definition 15
    * UCC (Universal Commercial Code) Article 9, § 9-307. LOCATION OF DEBTOR (h)

Supreme Court: US vs. Valentine 288 F. Supp. 957: “The only absolute and unqualified right of a United States citizen is to residence within the territorial boundaries of the United States.”

  24. rusboarder Says:

    They are trying to …
They are trying to wake America up you racist little cunt. Of course a like you would vote for McCain. Your an extreme white supremacist, way out of touch with modern society. Do you dislike this ad because the more people register to vote, the bigger of a chance Obama has in winning?
Your pathetic, how do you go on living being such a cunt, why would people be willing to hire you?
Unless you your family and hunt for a living

  25. Gotterdammerung14 Says:

    These media hyped …
These media hyped Politicians are there to make you think you have a say in how your country is run, YOU DONT! All you stupid American sheep who think these celebrities are anything more than cooperate whores need to wake the up.
