Once upon a time to learn to be a reiki master you had to attend many many classes and teaching sessions which all cost money and the amount and frequency of those classes differed from one reiki teacher to another, often resulting in some unfortunate reiki students having to pay upwards of $15,000 to reach the level of reiki master and believe me this shocking and scandalous tactic is still very much in operation for many offline Reiki masters.
