A referendum, three by elections and an ongoing new voter registration exercise. These are the tasks the Interim independent electoral commission has to complete at least before the end of the year.
The commission has budgeted for close to ksh. 10billion shillings for the referendum and may have to part with not less 120 million shillings for the by elections. Yassin Juma reports on why it not a cheap affair for the country
