Tyranny at the Texas Straw Poll Ron Paul

July 9, 2010 - 11:09 am 25 Comments

UPDATE Sept 5 07 http://www.mysanantonio.com/sharedcontent/APStories/stories/D8RFILF80.html
UPDATE Sept 5 07 Associated Press just interviewed me.
UPDATE Sept 4 07 Granny Warrior letter

http://www.grannywarriors.com/strawpol.htm

UPDATE SEPT 2 07 ****MUST READ****
I just got an email through the Ron Paul Meetup up group from the well known “Granny Warriors”
They just informed everyone that they have PROOF that an ENTIRE BUS FULL of Ron Paul DELEGATES from San Antonio were prevented from voting. They arrived on time and were denied. After another bus pulled up and they were ushered in through the side entrance.
END UPDATE#1
The vote was supposed to be until 1 or 2 pm, but GOP security prevented registered Delegates from entering the building who were wearing Ron Paul signs at 10am.

I was standing over by the Granny warriors when 2 delegates approached me and asked me to help them get into the convention center.
They had showed up at the door a little before 10am wearing Ron Paul shirts. The security guard told them to change into proper attire. They left and changed then came back and it was now 10:10/10:20 and the security told them the registration was closed.
Apparently everyone who showed up from out of town or with an online registration recpt. was denied access unless they got there before 10am and in proper attire.

Delegates who showed up, got their credentials and then changed were allowed to enter.

In the video the woman in red asks a Ron Paul organizer for her pass. He tells her the woman with the box has it. She runs to the woman with the box of passes, and askes if she has the passes, and the woman tells her no. So what was in that box, and why was she in such a hurry to get the box out of the convention center? It was in my opinon a lie and the passes were in the box.

The security guard is asked by me on camera who he works for, and he evades the question. If he works for the GOP then why not say “yes GOP” he says “the party” Who’s party? Another candidate? Who told this security guard to deny access to Ron Paul delegates?
We counted about 12 or so people walking up to the door and being turned away every 10 min or so. This went on from 10am till 1:30 when I left. This does not count the delegates who showed up in Ron Paul shirts and could not or decided not to change and simply went home frustrated and out the $50 or $75 fee the GOP charges.
If they paid for credentials and were denied them, should they file a dispute on their credit card? Would hundreds of disputes on the GOP merchant account make national headlines, and force the merchant account provider to suspend or even file criminal charges against the account holder?

Ron Paul Votes NO BAILOUT (Speech on the House Floor)

July 9, 2010 - 11:09 am 25 Comments

September 29, 2008, U.S. House of Representatives. Ron Paul [R-TX] votes NO on the bailout bill.

AYES 205
NOES 228

http://clerk.house.gov/evs/2008/roll674.xml

———————————————————-

TRANSCRIPT:

Madam Speaker, I rise in strong opposition to this bill. This is only going to make the problem that much worse. The problem came about because we spent too much; we borrowed too much, and we printed too much money; we inflated too much, and we overregulated. This is all that this bill is about is more of the same.

So you can’t solve the problem. We are looking at a symptom. We are looking at the collapsing of a market that was unstable. It was unstable because of the way it came about. It came about because of a monopoly control of money and credit by the Federal Reserve System, and that is a natural consequence of what happens when a Federal Reserve System creates too much credit.

Now, there have been a fair number of free market economists around who have predicted this would happen. Yet do we look to them for advice? No. We totally exclude them. We don’t listen to them. We don’t look at them. We look to the people who created the problem, and then we perpetuate the problem.

The most serious mistake that could be made here today is to blame free market capitalism for this problem. This has nothing to do with free market capitalism. This has to do with a managed economy, with an inflationary system, with corporatism, and with a special interest system. It has nothing to do with the failure of free markets and capitalism. Yet we’re resorting now, once again, to promoting more and more government.

Long term, this is disastrous because of everything we’re doing here and because of everything we’ve done for 6 months. We’ve already pumped in $700 billion. Here is another $700 billion. This is going to destroy the dollar. That’s what you should be concerned about. Yes, Wall Street is in trouble. There are a lot of problems, and if we don’t vote for this, there are going to be problems. Believe me: If you destroy the dollar, you’re going to destroy a worldwide economy, and that’s what we’re
on the verge of doing, and it is inevitable, if we continue this, that that’s what’s going to happen. It’s going to be a lot more serious than what we’re dealing with today.

We need to get our house in order. We need more oversight–that is a certainty–but we need oversight of the Federal Reserve System, of the Exchange Stabilization Fund and of the President’s Working Group on Financial Markets. Find out what they’re doing. How much have they been meddling in the market?

What we’re doing today is going to make things much worse.

Votes For Women: Are You Voting In ’08?

June 13, 2010 - 12:38 am 25 Comments

*NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED*

BEFORE YOU ALL LAUGH AT ME: YES, I REALIZE I SPELLED “PRIVILEGE” WRONG! xD

I may be only 16, so I can’t vote, but I can encourage women of voting age in the United States to vote, which is more gratifying to me.

btw, Alice Paul is my personal hero. Just thought I’d throw that out there.

There is so much that wasn’t mentioned in the video, because there is so much information to cover in so little time. So much before and after, that I almost feel bad for not mentioning it…If you want to know more about these amazing women, vist this website (or google for the subject):

and for more on the movie I used in the video, “Iron Jawed Angels”:

Ron Paul Fraud! ‘Diebold’ Vote Machines Steal 2008 Primaries

May 27, 2010 - 11:29 pm 25 Comments

http://www.ronpaulforpresident2008.com

With the presidential race in full swing, most U.S. states have found critical flaws in the accuracy and security of their electronic voting machines.

Some officials have been forced to scramble to return to the paper ballots they abandoned after the 2000 and 2004 Florida and Ohio Stolen Elections. Poll workers and other convicted state officials are already serving terms for Election Fraud. Besides President Bush and Vice Cheney there might be dozens if not hundreds of unelected public officials from both parties.

And that’s not all, this past December alone, top election officials in Ohio, New Hampshire, and Colorado declared that widely used voting equipment is unfit for elections. The state of California just banned the four electronic voting machine companies after HBO’s documentary “Hacking Democracy: A Diebold Expose’” – http://www.digg.com/security/Hacking_Democracy_10

Now, Just Remember that We The People Can and Are Passing Legislation to Guarantee Paper Ballots and an Open Count in the 2008 General Elections.

Note on the rejected EU Constitution and Lisbon Treaty:

The people of France and the Netherlands rejected the proposed EU constitution in the 2005 referendums. After this, other countries cancelled a promised referendum and the EU Constitution was re-written as an “amending treaty” or a “reform treaty” and named “Treaty of Lisbon”.

On the basis of this deceit, they claimed that no referendums are necessary on the Lisbon Treaty. Ireland was constitutionally required to hold a referendum and on the 12 June 2008 the people of Ireland gave a resounding No to Lisbon. Yet this vote is not being respected and the rule of law is being ignored. The EU leaders agreed at the June 19-20 EU Summit that ratifications must go on. Moreover, no other government is asking the people.

The Lisbon Treaty establishes a new “European Union” with joint citizenship – an EU “federal” State that is technically and politically empowered to centralize more power in Brussels. The treaty also stipulates the militarisation of the Union in order to ‘police the world’ just like the US does today.
