Countrywide voter registration kicks off

President Mwai Kibaki has urged Kenyans to turn up in large numbers for the voter registration exercise which was he officially launched today morning. While registering as a voter, the president said the new register will curb incidents of double registration and warned that those who attempt to have themselves registered more than once will be prosecuted. The registration exercise will be conducted 7 days a week for the next one and a half months beginning today.

Yes every citizen …
Yes every citizen should register and vote having said that, I feel that it is extremely irresponsible to exercise that right when you are completely unaware of the issues
